This is a beautiful pair of Sandwich red cut to clear and engraved bottles circa 1870. Examples of these bottles having the same pewter tops can be seen in Ruth Webb Lee's reprint of an original Boston & Sandwich Glass Company catalog from the 1870s in plate 15.
