This impressive looking German bottle was blown in the German half post method with both gathers being patterned in a ribbed mold. The screw joint silver top has a figural cherub raising a goblet. The base has three hairy paw feet and shows a hound chasing a rabbit. The marks on the bottom are illegible and obscured. Undamaged though it may have once had chains. height overall: 38.1 cm (about 15 inches)
